Make Your Tees Fashionable | DIY (No-Sew) T-Shirts
If you're a fashionable lady then you know how tough it can be to make t-shirts look good. I usually have to tuck them in, roll up the sleeves, tie up the middle or just decide to look like a house. And since looking like a house is not really an option I had to find a way to make them work for me.
The great thing is it's relatively easy to do, all you need is some scissors and some creativity... I also used some paint on one, but it's all up to you.
Check out my creations below!
1) Be "Flashy" Cropped Tee
What you need:
- Flash tee (or any tee; medium or large for best results)
- Sharp scissors
- Fabric scraps from the sleeves
How to create:
Note: Use the leftover fabric from the sleeves to gather the back together parts together, simply tie the fabric in a knot to get the "T" effect in the back (see picture below).

2) Be Fancy Off-Shoulder Tee
What you need:
- Plain tee (any size)
- Sharp scissors
- Paint + brush

3) Go Bolts Tee
What you need:
- Bolts tee (or any tee; large or extra-large for best results)
- Sharp scissors
How to create:
Note: Cut the sides horizontally first, the cut each individual piece vertically. Once you've done that, tie each piece together. You can also cut the top of the shirt near the shoulders to tighten it as well (see picture below).

4) Fringe Tee or Beach Cover-up
What you need:
- Plain tee (any size)
- Sharp scissors
- Fabric scraps from the sleeves (optional)
How to create:
Note: You can tie a knot in each hanging piece or not, it's up to you. I also took some leftover fabric from the sleeves and tied the shoulder sleeves up to give the same knotted detail (see picture below).
