Kyle Vanden Bosch appeared on the injury report for the first time Thursday, and the Lions defensive end did not take part in the open portion of practice today.

Vanden Bosch suffered a back injury Thursday.

Receiver Nate Burleson (ankle) and middle linebacker DeAndre Levy (groin/ankle) also missed practice for the third straight day.
