Lions Finally Ready To Contend, But Will They Be Allowed To?

There are informal NFL player workouts across the country. A bunch of receivers got together with Eagles quarterback Michael Vick in New Jersey; another handful decided to work out with Giants quarterback Eli Manning. People in Jacksonville are geeked because a group of eight players have secretly conducted workouts in the community, only recently allowing a reporter to peek in on practices.
