Lions Add Local Product Martin

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have signed free agent wide receiver Lance Moore to a one-year contract.

The Lions announced that deal Tuesday. They also said they have signed running back Desmond Martin and released running back Rasheed Williams.

Moore caught 14 passes for 198 yards for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. Prior to that, he played eight seasons for the New Orleans Saints.

Martin joins the team as an undrafted free agent out of Wayne State in Detroit. He participated in the Lions' rookie minicamp.
