Kalamazoo business voluntarily recalling marijuana-infused drink over THC potency concerns
A business in Kalamazoo is voluntarily recalling several of its marijuana-infused drink products due to concerns that they may exceed allowable THC concentration limits, according to the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency.
Season 3, LLC is recalling Nuggz Nectar Infused Drink 200mg beverages sold in Blue Razz, Cherry Bomb, Grape, Green Apple, Hulk Juice, Lemonade, Mango, Tropical Punch and Watermelon Splash varieties. State officials say the company is also investigating whether the affected drinks contain uneven amounts of THC.
The recalled products were sold at Great Lakes Holistics stores in Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, Lansing and Muskegon, according to state officials. The agency's website includes a list of affected products by package tag.
As of Tuesday, the agency says Season 3 hasn't received reports of "adverse health effects or other adverse events" related to the recalled products. It added that the company is working with the stores to remove and dispose of any remaining inventory.
