Immigration And What That Means For Detroit
This week on Street Beat, we look at immigration and its impact on Detroit.
Dr. Mukhtar Khan, who came to this country from Pakistan, talks about the Hassan Foundation that brings aid to Pakistani orphans. He tell us personal mantra about being an immigrant in America. "I came to this country, furthered my education and this has provided me the best opportunities anyone could have anywhere in the entire world," he said. "So I think it is my duty and it is incumbent on every immigrant in this country to first support this county and to pay back to their own homelands too." www.hassanfoundationusa.org
