DETROIT (WWJ) -- The concept of GreenLancer.com, a virtual team of solar engineers to do all the pre-construction work for solar power projects, is winning more than just awards.
The Detroit-based company Tuesday reported a tenfold spike in new customer accounts since June.
And yes, the company has won awards -- "Emerging Company of the Year" by Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council Oct. 28, winner of Start Up Alley Challenge at the 2013 Solar Power International show Oct. 23, semifinalist for next week's Accelerate Michigan Innovation competition.
