Great Lakes Software Excellence Conference To Host Renowned Expert

GRAND RAPIDS -- Dorothy Graham, a world renowned speaker and software tester, will discuss five intelligent mistakes made in the software testing industry and how to avoid them during the Great Lakes Software Excellence Conference held at Calvin College on April 29.
This is the sixth annual GLSEC conference, which aims to give software and IT professionals the opportunity to continue their education and network while supporting the local technology ecosystem. In addition to Graham, the event features more than 20 different thought leaders from companies such as Microsoft, GE, Spectrum Health, Open Systems Technology and Gordon Food Service.

"West Michigan has a thriving technology sector and this conference represents a collaborative effort to gather, educate, serve and promote the competitiveness of Michigan's software development community," said Paul Jorgensen, 2013 GLSEC conference chair and professor at Grand Valley State University.

Graham has 40 years of experience and speaks around the globe. The most recent of her books was voted Best Automated Testing Book in the recent Automated Testing Institute awards. She won the European Software Testing Excellence Award in 1999 and the first ISTQB Excellence Award in 2012.
