Grand Valley State To Raise Tuition 6.9 Percent
DETROIT (AP) - Tuition will increase 6.9 percent next year for Michigan students entering Grand Valley State University.
The western Michigan university's Board of Trustees voted Friday to set in-state first-year tuition for the 2011-12 academic year of $9,716, about $630 more than last school year.
The board also approved a 1.9 percent pay increase for employees a year after salaries were frozen. Grand Valley has about 25,000 students.
