"Game Of Thrones" Decapitates A President

The second season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" has already wrapped up, but the series is still able to cause controversy. Somehow people are just catching on to the fact that the first season's DVDs (which came out in March) revealed a little presidential secret. Thanks to the commentary track for Episode 10, we now know that the decapitated head of former President George W. Bush was featured on a spike in King's Landing.
The show's creators explain, quote, "The last head on the left is George Bush. George Bush's head appears in a couple of beheading scenes. It's not a choice, not a political statement. We just had to use whatever head we had around." Apparently the head was part of a "bulk body part purchase".
The story made enough waves this week that the show's creators and HBO head honchos have issued apologies. HBO called it "unacceptable, disrespectful and in very bad taste." They also promised to "have it removed from any future DVD production."
