Former Lion: 3 P's Are Keys To Succeed
FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - A former Detroit Lion turned entrepreneur is encouraging other business owners to stay focused in the economic downturn.
Speaking Wednesday at the Leadership Oakland Community Conference at the Smith Theater on Oakland Community College's Orchard Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills, Herman Moore said patience, persistence and passion are keys to winning in today's economic climate.
"To be persistent, having a passion for what we do ... I think sometimes that gets lost. Many times you have the turmoil or the downslope that we've had the last few years, but there's always inspiration and opportunity," Moore told WWJ's Vickie Thomas.
Moore is now an IT guy.
"I'm doing software design development. I do a lot of building social media platforms," Moore said.
