DETROIT (WWJ) - A former call-girl caught up in a Miami sex ring with ties to Detroit has agreed to a plea.

Nayubet Swaso, also known as Nya and Sierra Sanchez, is expected to plead guilty to one count of persuading or enticing someone to engage in prostitution, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Her lawyer, David Nacht, tells the local newspaper that Swaso was abandoned as a teen and unknowingly fell into the work with the Miami Companions sex ring.

Swaso was among four people indicted last year on charges of running what authorities said was once one of the largest prostitution services in the country. Records say metro Detroit was among its busiest ports before authorities busted the escort service last summer.
