Flint Police Station Beefing Up Security
FLINT (WWJ) - Bulletproof glass is being installed at a Flint police station.
The police lobby is being turned into a construction site this weekend with bulletproof glass, electronic locks and more surveillance cameras being added, according to the Flint Journal.
The work comes six months after four officers were shot and wounded at a police station in Detroit. Surveillance video showed 38-year-old Lamar Moore walking into the precinct on Jan. 23 and opening fire on the officers. He was shot to death in the exchange of gunfire.
