Fire Rips Through Church Converted To Thrift Shop In Harper Woods
HARPER WOODS (WWJ) - Fire crews in Harper Woods work to contain the flames at a church which was converted to a thrift shop on Vernier -- just west of I-94.
Authorities tell WWJ that the fire at Redeemer United Methodist Church broke out sometime overnight -- causing extensive damage.
There are no known injuries but the building has been extensively damaged.
Investigators are on the scene to determine a cause for the fire.
