Fennville Wins District Title
The Fennville High boys basketball team erased a 10-point deficit to win a district championship and third consecutive playoff game since the death of its star player, 16-year-old Wes Leonard.
The Blackhawks beat Covert 51-48 Friday night to earn a Class C district title. Fennville now has a perfect 23-0 record.
It was the third game since the death of Leonard, who collapsed shortly after scoring the game-winning basket on March 3.
