Video footage of an FBI raid that ended with the fatal shooting of a Detroit mosque leader shows shows agents coming into a warehouse, but not the actual shooting.
The Detroit Free Press obtained the video from the Michigan attorney general's office which released five DVDs of footage taken by five cameras hidden in a Dearborn warehouse where Imam Luqman Ameen Abdullah was killed last year.
The newspaper filed a request for the footage under the Freedom of Information Act.
The Free Press says the FBI videos show the events leading up to the shooting but not the shooting itself.
The cameras were installed in the warehouse as part of a sting operation to arrest Abdullah and his followers.
FBI agents shot the imam 20 times. Investigations by the Attorney General's office and Justice Department said the agents did nothing wrong.
