Factor Education Into The Vote

Michigan's parents will be making big decisions this November about the future of the state. The Governor's race has highlighted the issue of education in 2010, as both candidates have made education a top issue in their campaigns.

Republican Rick Snyder has called for a P-20 system that would make education more effective and efficient. He has also called for more information to be available to parents about schools, so that they  can make better decisions for their children.

Democrat Virg Bernero has called for great efficiency in education, as well as for stable funding for schools and universities, and a restoration of the Michigan Promise scholarship program.

Don't forget to talk to your kids about the governor's race, and how it may impact their future.
