Event Notices From January 16

UM Sets Town Hall On Curing Climate Confusion: When the scientific experts have concluded that we are changing our climate, why do many U.S. citizens remain confused or skeptical? And what can communications experts and social scientists teach us about how to help bridge the gap between science and public understanding? These questions will be discussed with leaders from politics, business, religion and science, and explore what we can do to find common ground. The event will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20 at the UM Ross School of Business' Blau Auditorium, 701 Tappan St., Ann Arbor. No registration required. The town hall will be live-streamed at: http://erb.umich.edu/blog/2012/01/04/town-hall-cures-for-climate-confusion-live-stream/.
