Dining Out For Life Benefits AIDS Coalition

FERNDALE -- What's better than a night out? A night out that makes a difference.

Dining out for Life, the international event raising funds for local HIV/AIDS service organizations, is coming to Detroit on Thursday, April 25. The one-night dining event takes place at restaurants across the metro area and benefits the Michigan AIDS Coalition.

The concept is simple – dine at a participating restaurant on April 25 and a portion of the food tab will benefit MAC. Patrons can make additional donations, which will make a very real difference for people who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Michigan.

"Dining Out for Life is raising money that will be providing counseling and testing to the men and women who are most at-risk for contracting the virus," says MAC CEO Terry Ryan. "One of the many pleasures of life is sharing a meal with friends, so by spending a special evening out with friends and family, supporters help raise funds for those in our community battling complications related to HIV/AIDS," Ryan explains.
