The Detroit Tigers have made a move to strengthen their bullpen for the series against the Washington Nationals.

Wednesday afternoon the Tigers recalled LHP Daniel Norris from Triple A Toledo.

In 4 starts for the Toledo Mud Hens in 2016, Norris has a 9.98 ERA over 15 and a third innings pitched. Opponents are hitting .343 and holds a WHIP of 2.15 and a record of 0-3.

In a corresponding move, the Tigers optioned Tyler Collins back down to Toledo.
