Dan Leach's NFL Thursday Night Pick Festival

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs 8:25 p.m. Thursday, CBS (Chiefs -3)

The Broncos did not look solid at all opening day, but were able to hang on for the win against the Ravens last Sunday. The biggest alarm in that win was just how mortal Peyton Manning looked.

While Manning is still one of the better QB's in the league just off his amazing football brain, he is definitely showing signs of slowing down and this year that could happen in a big way. The Denver D was one huge positive in game one, but D can only get you so far when you can't score points.

The Chiefs on the other hand had one of the NFL's best performances in week one in their 27-20 win at Houston, which really wasn't as close as the final score indicating.

QB Alex Smith and the Chiefs offense was able to do what it wanted for the most part against one of the NFL's best defenses and Chiefs TE Travis Kelce showed that he might just be Gronk 2.0 this season.

Look for K.C. to win this one going away and for Manning to concern Broncos fans and fantasy fans alike for the second week in a row.
