Coyotes Top Red Wings, Regain Home-Ice Advantage


Petr Prucha and Radim Vrbata scored midway through the third period, lifting the Phoenix Coyotes to a 4-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings and a 2-1 series lead.

Phoenix defenseman Sami Lepisto scored 29 seconds into the game, the fastest playoff goal in franchise history, and Wojtek Wolski also scored late in the second period.

Detroit's Valtteri Filppula made it 1-all late in the first period and Johan Franzen also scored for the Red Wings.
