Chain Reaction Accident Leaves 86-Year-Old Hospitalized
ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) - An apparent three car chain reaction accident leaves an 86-year-old woman in the hospital and two others seeking medical attention.
According to police the elderly Rochester Hills driver was heading south on Rochester road and failed to stop - hitting a Chevy Suburban being driven by a 42-year-old woman - which then struck two more cars in a chain reaction.
Police say there were no brake marks at the scene of the accident.
The Suburban driver and her daughter went to the hospital on their own and the 86-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Police say there were no other injuries involved and are still investigating the accident.
