I know you missed the NFL during the lockout, like a dieter misses pizza.

But I know what you really missed was my CBSSports.com Power Rankings. Just admit it.

With no league activity, and no players changing teams until the past couple of weeks, we haven't had a batch of rankings in a while.

Now that camps have opened and NFL teams have played one preseason game, it's time to rank them 1-32. Some will say, why rush? It's just a good time to set the table for the season.

Don't read into these rankings and try to figure out my playoff picks or Super Bowl teams. That will come later. These rankings are as of right now.

A lot can change. We will have injuries, as sad as that is, that will impact the seasons of some teams. So it's far too early to call any team a "dream team," like some are calling the Philadelphia Eagles.

It's also way too early to pick the team that will have the right to take Andrew Luck next April.
