Body of 46-year-old man found inside Novi home, police say

Police are investigating after a man's body was found on Monday evening in Novi, Michigan.

Investigators did not provide much detail, but said that at about 9:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 30000 block of Joliet for a welfare check.

That's where officers found the body of a 46-year-old man inside the home, according to Police Cmdr. Robert Manar.

Manar says the man's death remains under investigation.
