Be A Museum Detective
How do you know that a piece of art in a museum is real? Could it be a fake? The Detroit Institute of Arts new exhibit, Fakes, Forgeries and Mysteries will explore the science behind how museums can judge whether a piece is real or not.
Over 50 pieces of art are in the exhibit, which will highlight how the DIA reached the conclusion that the piece was either real or bogus. The exhibit opens November 21, and is only on display through April 2011. Find out more here.
