Ann Arbor-Ypsi Chamber Seeks Marketing Coordinator

The Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce is seeking a marketing coordinator.

The staffer will be in charge of the chamber's social marketing efforts, including its presence on sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Plaxo.

The staffer will have a wide variety of other tasks, from responding to e-mails and phone messages within 48 hours to representing the chamber at events to phogotraphy to working with the vice president of marketing and new programs to develop a comprehensive marketing plan, as well as the design, writing, production and distribution of publications.

The chamber also wants this staffer to assist in the start up of a Young Professional Group, manage the chamber's Web site, issue press releases and maintain ongoing relationships with the media.

Program management skills, good writing skills, the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and the ability to work with minimal supervision in high-pressure environment are required skills.
