Denver advocacy group says Cornell sex assault case has far reaching effects
An advocacy group for survivors of sexual assault in Denver says national attention on the sexual assault case at Cornell University can affect survivors in many ways: frustration at a lack of protection from institutions, retraumatization, and helping victims recognize what happened to them. They say they've seen an increase in calls in the past few weeks.
