Worker Accused Of Hanging Black Doll From Noose
DENVER (CBS4) - A man has been accused of intimidating a co-worker with a black doll hanging from a noose.
The federal complaint says the doll was on his desk.
Now Southwest Construction Supply & Sales, Inc. faces a federal lawsuit. It claims that the company did nothing about what the defendant calls a hostile work environment.
The lawsuit alleges the worker put the black doll hanging by its neck in clear view of other workers, and that racially-offensive jokes were use to harass the employee.
The company told CBS4 it had no comment at this time.
