Woman On Way To Court For DUI Charge Allegedly Hits, Kills Cyclist
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman on her way to court for a DUI charge now faces charges of vehicular homicide.
Tonie Rosales is accused of hitting and killing a cyclist on Highway 50 who was riding in a cross-country fundraiser.
The Grand Junction Sentinel reported that Rosales told troopers she was late for a court appearance for an arrest in June. She says she took a Percocet the night before and fell asleep.
Rosales also faces new charges of driving under the influence of drugs.
