Woman Charged In Connection With Child Falling Out Of Car Case

DENVER (CBS4) - A woman has been charged for her role in a case where her son fell out of a moving car after not being properly restrained.

Danielle Hernandez-Woodall, 24, has been charged with child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury and child abuse.

The incident happened in the area of 40th Avenue and Lisbon Street on June 21.

Ross McCoy, 33, was charged last month. He was driving when a 2-year old passenger removed himself from a seat belt, opened the rear passenger door and fell from the moving vehicle.

Hernandez-Woodall was also a passenger in the vehicle. She is accused of failing to properly restrain two of the children who were in the vehicle.

Hernandez-Woodall is scheduled to appear in court July 24 for her second advisement.
