Woman Accused Of Stealing Sheriff's SUV Has Preliminary Hearing Set
GEORGETOWN, Colo. (CBS4) - The woman accused of stealing a sheriff's car and leading officers on a chase will have her preliminary hearing later this spring.
Shelby Figueroa was in Clear Creek County Court on Tuesday. Police say she was drunk and high last fall when they pulled her over for driving too slow on Interstate 70 near Georgetown.
Police say Figueroa slipped out of her handcuffs cuffs, stole a jail transport SUV, and lead officers on a chase before crashing near Frisco.
The preliminary hearing is set for March 20.
