Wives Of Broncos Cornerbacks Talk Favorite Holiday Meals

DENVER (CBS4)- Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr. are enjoying home cookin' during this holiday season.

The wives of the two starting Denver Broncos cornerbacks discussed their favorite meals in an interview with CBS4.

Leah Harris and Gypsy Talib made chocolate tarts in the kitchen as they talked about the eating habits of the two stars of the Broncos secondary, which has been dubbed the "No Fly Zone."

"Chris isn't a big dessert person, unless he's back in Tulsa. He'll eat it but otherwise he just eats candy," said Leah.

"Aqib is more of a cookie (guy) and he really loves my banana pudding," said Gypsy.

The wives also dished about whether their husbands were as talented in the kitchen as they are on the field.

"Aqib doesn't cook. He grills, but he'll say he cooks. But he grills," said Gypsy. "He has made eggs, he made me spaghetti when I was pregnant and he made me baked chicken when I was pregnant."

During the holidays, Gypsy and Leah have different tastes when it comes to being traditional at the dinner table.

"I really like making greens," said Gypsy. "And I like making pot roast."

"I do the whole soul food, ham, baked macaroni and cheese, stuffing, pecan pie and then I always do peach cobbler," said Leah.
