Waterton Canyon Trails Closed Weekdays First Part Of June For Trail Maintenance
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Denver Water will close access to Waterton Canyon weekdays during part of June. The popular recreation area will reopen on weekends but be closed on weekdays for trail maintenance.
Crews will begin a project that will lessen dust and provide a better experience for hikers, bicyclists and runners throughout the rest of the summer.
The closure begins June 1 and continues through June 11. The canyon will be open the weekend of June 5 and 6 for recreation.
