Judge Orders Walmart Shooting Suspect To State Mental Hospital
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - The man accused of shooting inside a Walmart in Thornton last November was ordered to go to a state mental hospital.
That order came from a judge on Wednesday during a hearing for Scott Ostrem. It means Ostrem will be evaluated to see if he's competent for trial.
Ostrem is charged with three counts of first-degree murder and 30 counts attempted first-degree murder after the shooting left three people dead.
A review hearing is set for April.
