Miller Tweets 'FOR LIFE,' Agent Says Deal Is Done

DENVER (CBS4) - Von Miller has signed a long term contract with the Denver Broncos, according to his agent.

The jubilant Super Bowl MVP sent a tweet announcing the news with the simple words "FOR LIFE."

An NFL Network report states Miller agreed to a six-year deal with the Broncos that's worth a reported $114 million with $70 million in guaranteed money.

Miller's agent tweeted "Happy to announce we've agreed to terms with the @Broncos to make @Millerlite40 the highest paid defensive player in the history of the NFL"

Friday at 2 p.m. was the deadline for the Broncos and Miller to reach a deal under the terms of the league's franchise tag.
