Vestas Transport Trailer Crash Snarls Traffic On I-25 In Pueblo
PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) - Part of Interstate 25 in Pueblo has reopened after a crash closed it for nearly nine hours on Tuesday.
A transport trailer hauling part of a Vestas wind energy tower ran into the median just after 10 a.m. It took hours to get a crane in to lift the massive metal pipe off the road.
The Colorado State Patrol says a mechanical failure with the truck may be to blame for the crash.
Nobody was injured.
