Gov. Jared Polis Signs Universal Pre-K Bill Into Law
DENVER (CBS4)- Gov. Jared Polis signed a bill into law on Monday that will make universal Pre-K a reality for all Coloradans by next year. It's another way the state is trying to help people make ends meet.
The program is expected to save Colorado families more than $4,000 a year. It offers 10 hours of free preschool education per week.
The newly-created Department of Early Childhood will roll out the program by fall of 2023.
