United Express Plane Evacuated For Smoke In Denver
DENVER (AP) — A United Express plane has been evacuated after landing at Denver International Airport because of smoke on the aircraft.
An airport spokeswoman said the Flight 5912 was a scheduled arrival from Peoria, Ill. and that passengers were evacuated after it landed Tuesday morning.
One person was taken to the hospital but that passenger's condition wasn't known.
The runway where the plane landed was closed for inspection but the airport said that wasn't causing any delays.
