Ty Lawson Hold 'Skills Camp' For Kids
DENVER (CBS4) - When he's not playing, he's coaching. Ty Lawson held his third annual basketball Skills Camp for kids this week.
The point guard gave a few pointers on shooting and even played a couple games. Lawson also showed off his dance moves, but the upcoming season isn't far from his mind.
It's been an interesting summer for the Denver Nuggets. Following this past franchise record-setting season the team lost its general manager and head coach. Then Andre Iguodala jumped ship.
Even with all the post-season drama Lawson is optimistic.
"We had a jump around song going on. Whenever that comes on you had to do the burn, you had to do some type of dance," Lawson said. "That's the big thing when you play basketball, when you play this sport you have to be able to communicate and talk."
