Twin Tunnels Renamed Veterans Memorial Tunnels
IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- The Colorado Department of Transportation teamed up with local military veterans to officially rename the Interstate 70 tunnels in Idaho Springs as the Veterans Memorial Tunnels.
Federal, state and local officials joined members of the Clear Creek Veterans Coalition for the renaming on Friday, which also fell on the Sept. 11 anniversary.
