VIDEO: Semi Truck Fire Leads To Interstate 70 Closure Near Georgetown
GEORGETOWN, Colo. (CBS4) - A semi truck hauling frozen food caught fire at noon Thursday and officials were forced to close Interstate 70 in both directions for a short time. It happened near Georgetown and two hours later one eastbound lane remained closed.
The driver of the truck didn't get hurt badly.
Just before 2 p.m., officials with the Colorado State Patrol said the backup in the eastbound lanes was three miles long.
