Former Corrections Officer Allegedly Smuggled Drugs Into Prison In A Burrito
COSTILLA COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A former Colorado Department of Corrections officer is accused of trying to smuggle drugs into a Buena Vista prison using a burrito. Trevor Martineau is now facing felony charges.
Two inmates tipped off investigators. They searched Martineau's lunchbox when he came into work last week. The burrito contained packets of meth, heroin, marijuana and other drugs. Several thumb drives were also found.
Martineau is now in the Chaffee County Jail.
