Training Tip: Training For Runners Should Include Injury Prevention
DENVER (CBS4) - Every runner wants to be able to train and run a race without getting injured. Keeping your shoes in good working order is an important part of injury prevention, but so is stretching.
"You definitely need to employ a daily stretching routine as part of your training plan. That's the best way to stay injury-free," said two-time Olympian Alan Culpepper.
The Rock 'n' Roll Denver Marathon & 1/2 is Sunday, Oct. 19, at 7:15 a.m. at Civic Center Park.
