Relay Running Team Completes Colorado Trail In 3 Days
DURANGO, Colo. (CBS4) - Five Durango residents set a record time in finishing the Colorado Trail over the weekend.
The Durango Herald reports the team ran the 485 mile trail that runs from Golden to Durango in three days, 15 hours and 54 minutes.
They completed the trail in a relay, running in shifts while the rest drove along in a car.
There is no official record of times set on the trail, but the previously recognized running record was eight days and 30 minutes.
