Located in the River North Art District (RINO), the Meadowlark's open stage night falls weekly on Tuesdays and features one of the longest running open mic nights in city. Jim Bob Housley, owner of the Lincoln Road House, actually helped to open another icon of Denver back in the day – the Denver Chop House & Brewery. There is a Cajun feel to the Lincoln Road House and that vibe permeates in everything that occurs within its walls, from the catfish basket to the blues jams. Try to catch the Delta Sonics when they perform at the Lincoln Road House – they are one of the best blues bands in the Rockies.

LoDo regulars will have undoubtedly spent an evening at the Celtic Tavern before, but many fans of the Irish pub may be surprised to learn that there's another location at Riverside Downs. If you're looking to wrap up a long work week with some cold beer, great pub fare and amazing local talent, this Littleton bar is where you should head. The recently added open mic Fridays event has proven to be a big hit, and when it's coupled with the bar's two happy hours (3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again at 10:30 p.m. to midnight), it's one of the most magical nights to listen to local talent. The Celtic Tavern dons an authentic Irish pub feel, from the circular stone pillar fireplace to the Killarney toast.
