Time To Turn Your Clocks Back
DENVER (CBS4)- Tonight Coloradans will turn back the clock one hour to return to Mountain Standard Time after Daylight Saving Time ends for the year.
The practice includes turning back clocks at 2 a.m. but typically people turn back the clocks at bedtime. That gives people an extra hour of sleep on Saturday night.
The practice of using daylight savings time in summer months and standard time in winter months has been used since World War I, when it was adopted to save fuel and energy by matching daylight to people's activities.
Daylight Saving Time will return in March.
