1 arrested in attempted carjacking as Thornton police search for another suspect

Thornton police officers rushed to the scene of an attempted carjacking with a weapon near 104th and Riverdale Road Wednesday morning. Officers said it happened before 3 a.m. 

According to Thornton police, officers arrested a juvenile male but the other suspects ran away. 

Police asked residents in the area to call 911 if they see anything suspicious.
