Teen Who Inspired Change In Medical Marijuana Law Has Died

DENVER (CBS4)- A teenager who inspired a major change to Colorado's medical marijuana law has died.

Jack Splitt passed away on Wednesday. The 15-year-old suffered from cerebral palsy and treated his pain with medical marijuana.

His mom, Stacey Linn, fought for the rights of children to receive the treatment on school grounds.

"Jack's Law" became official this year. Jack started high school last week.
