Survey Shows How Often Coloradans Exercise
DENVER (AP) -- A survey of Colorado adults shows about seven out of 10 say they exercise at least three days a week.
It says men are more likely than women to exercise at least five days a week, and that of all people who said they exercise that often, 41 percent had no kids.
The survey didn't specify what qualifies as exercise.
The results are from a telephone survey of over 1.100 Colorado adults from Nov. 17 to Dec. 8. People could also answer questions online, if they chose. The margin of error was plus or minus 3 percentage points. The survey was conducted by HealthCare Research Inc.
The nonprofit group LiveWell Colorado commissioned the survey as it prepares to launch a campaign to motivate Coloradans to make healthy choices and prevent obesity.
